According the NBC news, Obama was out on the campaign trail trying to win over young voters. Isn't it sad?

He NEEDS the votes of the naive and impressionable in order for his party to stand some semblance of winning elections in a year when mostly Republicans are expected to triumph. Isn't it telling that a President would have to resort to such a measure?
