I have 3GB of 800Mhz RAM and I was thinking if a SSD drive would show a big difference compared to my 7200RPM?

Nothing can Touch a SSD I bought a Crucial RealSSD C300 and it boosted my 5.9 to 6.8 Running 3GBs and the 7.4 with 6GBs and Now I have a 7.9 as I now have 2 of them running Raid 0 Stripe 6Gbs Sata 3. Needless to say Your ram has nothing to do with it, It will increase your performance substantially programs will run faster, windows will boot faster and your little 5.9 will get a nice jump. The OCZ is a nice drive but if you have a 6 GB Sata port you need to get a Crucial RealSSD C300 there simply the best SSD I have came across. Check newegg.com
