If cancer runs in your family you may be more susceptible to it. Talk to your Doctor and tell him about your family history. He may want to do more tests more often just to be sure. This won't hurt, and will at a minimum give you some peace of mind. Don't take any chances with Esophageal Cancer. It is not pretty and is very aggressive.
