Jews - What do you think about the prophetic restoration of the third Temple?

Your Rabbi said this because she is Reform. For Orthodox Judaism, The Torah says that G-d commands the Jews to build the Temple (or to keep busy about). Not all of Judaism believes this, but a lot of Orthodox Jews do. There are some Orthodox Jews now who are working on the items that go into the Temple. As far as the Dome of the Rock, something will eventually happen to remove it, It is Jewish law that will not allow for the Jews themselves to remove the Mosque. The sacrificial system will then return, however it is NOT FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF ANY ONES SINS. It is for a closer relationship with G-d.
