How do I get a shiny stone in pokemon heart gold?

I know I get it through the pokeathlon (btw it sucks big time stupid mini crap games can suck it) I know I trade in athlete points for it, the problem is its not in the prize list I don't know when it will be and I don't know how much it cost. If someone could give me the details I would be stoked ty.
