Fort sill chances of deployment considering his job?

my husband is stationed in fort sill. he is a cbrn specialist and is supposed to be deploying sometime in october (or at least thats when his deployment chances are opened) however he has heard a rumor that he may not be deploying. so what are these chances of him not going? hes going to a r and r spot i think in kuwait or qatar maybe. and also...what are the chances of him deploying?
