if you own the buisness it would depend on if you are a corporation,a partnership or sole propritor. the tax man will get curiouse if at the end of the year youn have retained earnings and you have not paid yourself a reasonable wage. If it is a new buisness and you need to reinvest the profits for tools or supplies then thats different.
